The following is a list of possible features for v2.0 of Life Goals. There will probably be some other interim releases (e.g. automatic rotation isn’t currently enabled) but I figure it doesn’t hurt to plan ahead. If there is anything that you would like to see in v2.0 then please leave a comment.

The priority indicates the order I plan to add these features [Priority 1 for the next release, Priority 2 for the subsequent version, etc.]

Life Goals v2.0 Feature List:

1. -A user set Life Balance Chart so that you can show your target balance and compare against actual. [Priority 3]
   

2. -Auto screen rotate (I’m not sure how useful landscape would be but you should be able to at least rotate in portrait). [Priority 1]
   

3. -Sync your goal data with a local server as backup. iTunes does backup the file but I would also like the ability to do it yourself over a WiFi link. [Priority 2]
   

4. -Add a priority field to each task. The task impact and effort fields are currently used to set priority but another dimension would be useful (particularly once you start getting a lot of tasks). Goals will be sorted by importance (effort and impact) and then urgency (priority). [Priority 1]
   

5. -As part of the feature above add an indicator for priority (probably a coloured ring around the current LED indicator). [Priority 1]
   

6. -Add a reward field for each task. One of my goal setting tips is to reward yourself as you progress and it would be good to systemise this (optionally). [Priority 3]
   

7. -Add an outline sector to the Life Chart which indicates the total number of goals in a category. At the moment the chart only shows completed goals. [Priority 1]
   

8. -Add a field for why you want to achieve the goal, what are the obstacles and your actions to mitigate these. [Priority 3]
   

9. -Redesign the task edit screen. Add a complete task button, have date picker slide in if date due selected, and change impact and effort slider from numbers to words (see earlier post). [Priority 1]
   

10. -Add custom goal categories [Priority 1]
